Dr. Bartnik evaluates a broad range of common illnesses, injuries, and symptoms. Some concerns require an emergency department; appropriateness is screened before care begins.

Dr. Jakub Bartnik is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with more than a decade of experience caring for adults and children—from common urgent concerns to life-threatening emergencies.
He completed fellowship training in emergency ultrasound and leads an emergency ultrasound division, bringing particular expertise in point-of-care ultrasound to appropriate house calls. His broader background includes emergency department leadership, resident education, lecturing, and research.

Where is care available?
Virtual care is available to patients located in New York State. House calls are generally available within approximately a 30-minute drive of 10960, including parts of Rockland, Westchester, and the Bronx. Availability is confirmed before the visit.
Does Maison Medical accept insurance?
Maison Medical is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. A superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurer, but reimbursement is not guaranteed.
What if I need testing or a procedure?
House calls may include point-of-care ultrasound, EKG, basic wound care, and selected medications when clinically appropriate. IV fluids with monitoring and selected procedures are available for a clearly stated additional fee.
Can children be evaluated?
Yes. Dr. Bartnik evaluates adults and children. The safest setting depends on the patient’s age, symptoms, and clinical circumstances.
Can I contact Dr. Bartnik after my visit?
Yes. Visit-related follow-up questions are available at no additional charge through secure Push Health messaging or a phone call. New symptoms, major changes, or unrelated concerns may require a new evaluation.
Is this an emergency service?
No. Maison Medical does not replace 911 or an emergency department. If symptoms may be life-threatening, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
